Pet Waste Receptacles

Dog Poop pick up, Pet waste Station, Pet waste pick up, doggy poop pick up and many more of these terms were foreign to most of us until recent years. In the 60’s and even the seventies and the 1980’s pets pretty much ran free to poop where they wanted. With the exploding population and the increase of Multi-housing neighborhoods we have experienced the need to pick up after our dogs to prevent nasty accidents.

If you do a search on the web you will find words like pooper scooper, dog poop bags, doggy do, dog dirt and pet litter. In the age of political correctness it is difficult to figure out what to call dog feces any more. However, when you step in it good old straight talk language will surface……. Aw Dog Dirt! or Damn I stepped in Dog litter!----I doubt it…Just Dog Sh_t! Will do.

Even though we have developed this new vocabulary I will give you a clue about what people really think. Google Dog Sh_t (Results of 254 Million) Now Google Dog dirt (not even 2 Million). I think it is safe to say we will be calling a spade a spade for a while.
However, it is the aggrevation of “stepping in it” that really drives the dog pick up business. Now it is the law in many places to pick up after pets. Consider the new phenomenom of Pet parks.
Many of us enjoy the companionship of pets. In fact, according to a 2002 survey by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, 62 percent of American households include pets. These animals don't ask for much, just a short list of basics such as food, shelter, veterinary care, and, of course, our companionship and love. Pets offer far more in return, teaching us about love, improving our emotional and physical health, and providing us with unconditional affection and friendship.

Parks and Recreation Departments around the country now welcome you and your dog to enjoy the vast amount of park space provided for you and your pet. However dog parks, require you to have your dog on a leash at all times and of course clean up after your pet. That’s where the new dogipot pet waste stations are useful. This is a system that has the dispenser for dog poop bags, a sign for leash instructions and a covered waste container to dispose of the dog dirt. It is the responsible thing to do and in many cases it is the law. Dogipot has designed a pet waste container convenient to the dog owner by providing the litter bags and the waste station for the disposal of the dog poop. Because dog poop can transmit diseases to children and other pets we must clean up after our pets.

You will find the dogipot pet waste stations in county or state parks and beaches. And now some motels and hotels resorts are pet friendly too. Condos and Home owners associations are also providing dogipot waste stations for home owners to walk their dogs and help keep their lawns clean when walking their dog in the neighborhood. You will find these at rest stops when traveling in your car.
The dogipot dispensers come in a 10 gallon steel receptacle with an aluminum bag dispenser. You can also purchase the new dog valet polythene receptacle. The dogipots come with accessories such as the on leash or off leash signs. There is also a small wall or post mounted bag dispenser that comes with bags and liners for the receptacles.

Pet waste stations are SO important in a public area. The park near us recently put in some new Dogipot stations and pet waste receptacles and it's amazing how much the stray waste has declined
