Outdoor Garbage Cans
Outdoor Garbage Cans are one of the most abundant amenities for cities, Parks, Industrial buildings, Office buildings and more places where garbage can accumulate. Generally speaking Outdoor Trash Receptacles are made in as many sizes types and styles as there are places to put them.
If you visit an industrial building like Wal-Mart, General Electric, AT&T, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Boeing or Northrop Grumman you might find concrete, steel, plastic, recycled plastic, wood or stone clad trash cans. The size likely ranges from 22 to 55 gallons. The size depends on what type of garbage is expected. Industrial trash and garbage will vary depending on the level and type product manufactured. Also, many industrial facilities have eating areas and even restaurants. These areas require trash cans that can collect garbage efficiently without spilling and contaminating clean areas.

Office buildings like the Sears tower, Empire State Building, City Hall USA will generate a lot of paper trash and refuge that is usually dry but bulky. Paper shredders have created a new trash product that must be collected. Large steel, concrete or decorative plastic containers are used in common areas. The larger size reduces the number of collection times saving money. Liners are generally used to keep the receptacle clean. The liners are lighter inserts and usually are made of plastic. Occasionally galvanize steel is used for wet or heavy duty collection areas.

Restaurants have there own special needs. McDonalds, Burger King, Checkers, Wendy’s, are fast food and have different needs. The Cheesecake Factory, Outback, Carrabbas, Chili’s, Applebee’s or Disney Restaurants have their own needs for garbage removal. Upon entering a restaurant or public facility you will almost always find a trash can for trash people bring with them. In the cooking area there will be receptacles for unused food and soiled paper products. Here the aesthetics are not as important as the function. Sometimes lids are used to guide the trash into the can as in a public restroom. Other style lids will have doors to keep insects from flying in and out.

Stadiums and arenas are also areas that trash has disposal needs. The parking lot trash cans may even advertise and carry a logo for a team or just ad space. Throughout the facility there are garbage cans of all types for discarded paper, food and waste.

National, Public Municipal, and County Parks need trash cans that can keep out the animals and the trash in the cans. Usually they will have some type of top. It is good to mention that all commercial trash receptacles must consider flame resistant properties as people negligently throw cigarettes that may cause fire into trash cans.

Then there is us, the public. Humans are extremely destructive so garbage cans must be tough and heavy duty for public use. These are just a few of the Outdoor Garbage Can needs.
