Chances are that very few times will you come across a list of all the Hotel organizations in the world. Besides many other common links, they all buy pool furniture. Whether they have outdoor pools or indoor pools for their guest, they have a swimming pool as part of their services for hotel patrons.
Some may be as fancy as the Ritz Carlton and some less such as a Super 8 Motel. Pool furniture might be made from aluminum with virgin vinyl straps, plastic resin and in some cases wooden pool furniture. Recycled plastic has replaced much of what has been wood furniture in the past as it is beautiful, long lasting, and environmentally friendly and most importantly maintenance free. Some of the major manufactures are Grosfillex, Pollywood, Inc., Tropitone, Telescope, Woodard, and Furniture Leisure.
Most outdoor furniture used for hotels is commercial grade and sold by contract furniture companies. These companies sell products such as market umbrellas, garden umbrellas, chaise lounges, shade structures and tables and chairs. All used by the world’s hotel chains.
Market umbrellas are commonly used for swimming pool shade, outdoor dining facilities and restaurants and coffee houses with outdoor patios and bistros. The market umbrella is a great way to create roadside appeal and at the same time provide much needed shade for the guests. Market umbrella is a term that originated from European outdoor markets selling produce and products. While shopping patrons that had worked up an appetite would sit, drink, relax and rest under the shade provided by the market umbrella.
Hotels listed here all over the world provide hospitality and are served by outdoor furniture for patios, poolside and restaurant bistros. Bon Apetit’

I have observed that some people prefer the pool furniture to be very light weight and shiny. So most manufacturers use hard plastic as it is water resistant as well.
